Our prayers should be constant, fervent,
and in the Spirit.

Pray Together Fervently

Act_1:14  These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Act_2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act_4:24  And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
Act_18:25  This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Rom_12:11  Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Jas_5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1Pe_4:8  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Luk_18:1  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luk_21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Mar_14:38  Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
Rom_8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
1Co_14:14  For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
1Co_14:15  What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

What should we say in our prayers?

Confess and Repent of Any Sin

1Jn_1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Isa 59:2  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Rebuke the Enemy

Mar_8:33  But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
Luk_4:39  And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Luk_4:35  And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Praise, Worship, and Thank GOD

Psa_100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Ask with Faith

Jas 1:6  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Mar_11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Intercede for Others

Jas_5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
